Build confidence and skills for your DEI journey

Whether you’re just starting your diversity, equality, and inclusion (DEI) journey or stepping into a new role, this CPD-accredited half-day course will give you the knowledge and confidence to begin making a difference.

Delivered in person, this session offers a practical grounding in DEI. You’ll explore key terminology, relevant legislation, unconscious bias, and the role of allyship in creating inclusive workplace cultures.

Through interactive exercises, real-world case studies, and peer discussion, you’ll gain insight into common workplace challenges and how to navigate them. You’ll also learn how to create psychologically safe environments and turn good intentions into meaningful action.

What you’ll gain:

  • A strong foundation in DEI concepts, including key terminology, UK legislation, and the historical context shaping current practice
  • Practical insight into inclusive cultures, from understanding unconscious bias and allyship to building psychologically safe environments
  • Strategies to go beyond compliance, addressing barriers to inclusion and supporting all employees, including those with characteristics or experiences that are not protected under the Equality Act 2010
  • Tools and tips to turn DEI commitments into actions that make a lasting impact
  • A supportive space to exchange ideas with peers, build your network and a CPD certificate to recognise your learning.
  • This course is ideal for anyone looking to step into an entry-level DEI role or contribute meaningfully to inclusion in their organisation.

All in-person training takes place at a central London venue.
