State of Inclusion Report 2025

This report is a combination of commissioned research and data insights from Onvero’s Talent Inclusion and Diversity Evaluation (TIDE) benchmarking tool. The research was conducted to examine the state of workplace inclusion in the UK, uncovering the differences between what businesses say and what employees experience. It examines the differences between how inclusion is perceived and how it is actually experienced, considering how inclusion is embedded in daily practice.

The gap between ambition and action.

Across the UK, nine in ten workplaces have a DEI strategy. But for many, those commitments aren’t yet translating into lived experience. Our research, which combines insights from over 2,300 HR leaders and employees, reveals how inclusion feels on the ground: where people feel safe, supported, and valued, and where there’s still work to be done.
