Mental health is essential to our overall well-being and is as important as physical health. However, mental health is still a taboo topic in many organisations; employees worry they may be discriminated against if they raise the subject, while managers are reluctant to discuss mental health for fear of making matters worse. We all have mental health – it moves up and down a spectrum from good to poor depending on different circumstances. Starting a conversation about it doesn’t have to be difficult. Everyone recognised the importance of wellbeing at work during the Covid-19 pandemic, but we now need to continue this work and maintain the best practice which was developed in those extraordinary circumstances
This e-learning has been created to guide people managers on how to effectively promote and support the mental health and well-being of team members.
