Participants will also learn key terminology, the impact of unconscious bias, and how microaggressions can cause harm. The session covers relevant legislation, the intersection of LGBTQ+ identities with other characteristics and experiences, and strategies to approach sensitive conversations with care and respect.

The aim of the training is to strengthen empathy and confidence so people can help create a supportive working environment.

Participants will be equipped with the tools necessary to implement the learnings from this training into their working lives.
