We love helping organisations give managers the confidence and skills to support their teams with clarity, care, and fairness.
Wherever your organisation is on its inclusion journey, our training programmes can be tailored to meet your needs. We work with managers at all levels to help them approach challenging conversations in a constructive and supportive way.
Difficult conversations are a natural part of the employee lifecycle, from addressing performance and behaviours to managing employee wellbeing or workplace conflict. They can feel uncomfortable for both managers and employees, but with the right skills, they become opportunities for clarity, trust, and better outcomes.
Our training helps managers understand the factors that influence these types of conversations, including communication styles, emotional intelligence, and the psychological barriers that can affect how people give and receive feedback. Managers will learn how bias, communication challenges, and lived experiences can influence the outcome of a conversation, and how to adapt their approach to create a supportive and respectful environment.
Managers will have the opportunity to practise preparing for conversations, responding to unexpected reactions, and working towards constructive outcomes, using workplace scenarios to build confidence and apply the skills in context.
The aim is to build confidence so managers can handle difficult discussions productively and maintain positive working relationships. Participants will be equipped with the tools necessary to implement the learnings from this training into their working lives.
We design and deliver diversity, equality, and inclusion training programmes for everyone, from small teams to entire organisations, either directly or through train the trainer programmes, and work across all disciplines and levels within an organisation, from DEI practitioners through to senior leaders and boards.
